Happy Earth Day 2011!

Did you know that today, April 22nd, is Earth Day? We have decided to make some family traditions of this day. We are doing our best to show appreciation for the earth by not polluting today, using less energy, spending time in nature, and eating things that are given to us from the earth raw. August, my amazing superhuman husband, rode his bike to work today--25 miles there and 25 back! (Thank you Jake and Candis for letting him shower at your house :). Wow, what a feat! Bence, Linden, and I have been outside most of the day working in the yard and playing. We are hoping August will get home with enough time so we can go on a nature walk. What a wonderful world we get to be a part of! How are you showing appreciation for our earth today?
