Mr. Amazing

Well, folks, I'd like to brag about my husband. He is amazing. He is so hot. He is the kindest, most patient, hardest-working, fun person EVER. To add to his infinity of good qualities he also happens to be athletic. He is athletic even when he's not trying to be.

To demonstrate this point, today was Utah's Dirty Dash, a 10K. I've been bugging him the last month...'you should probably go running' 'you need to prepare for the big race', etc. He really wasn't getting ready-maybe a 1-2 mile run a week. One morning a few weeks back he said I'm going on a run, be back in an hour. He came back about 2 hours later and measured his course on Google Earth. 10 miles. Wow. 10 miles without working up to it...my body can't handle that.

So, today August completed the Dirty Dash along with 4 companions.  As a team, they stuck together through the obstacles, mud pits, and hard times and crossed the finish line together. Also, a month or so ago August and his dad completed Utah's ULCER bike race--a 100 mile road bike race around Utah Lake. Can I just say again...You are amazing August!
