Change

"Fate" stepped in to our somewhat secure life last week to drop off a surprise...August was laid off. We were very much astonished. Since that moment we have bolstered our spirits and gone to 'work'. With the help of something called unemployed insurance and August's new part time job working at the Western Garden Center in Salt Lake City, along with some re-adjusting to the budget we will get by (for a limited time only). August has dropped off resumes and filled out applications. There are lots of great jobs out there but not too many that can support a family. If any of you hear of anything related to his field please let us know!

  1. Oh Katie! I'm so sorry to hear that. :( I know how you are feeling. It isn't fun out there right now. I will keep my ears open for jobs I hear about. Tom might have a few landscape design install jobs that he might need help with this summer. I will tell him to call Gus if he needs help. I'm sure you already know this, but things will work out - you guys are so awesome...someone is going to snatch you up soon! We need to get together soon. We'll plan something and let you know. :)

  4. My Condolences; to be honest, I’m surprised he’s lasted this long. I’m sure his company has been lacking work for a while now. The company that let me go is barely surviving with only a skeleton crew.
