I spent last week at Girls Camp for LDS girls ages 12-18. I went as a girl for probably 6 years and this was my first experience going as a leader. A BIG thank you to Marmee and Mother B for taking care of my little family while I was gone! I left on a Tuesday morning and came home Friday afternoon.
The whole experience caused so many fun memory triggers of my experiences out in the wilderness with my Colorado girls. Sarah, Biff, Steph, Jamie, Shauni, Shannon, Janelle Lamb, Allison, everyone! Here are just a few memories for old times sake: "flower pickers", flipping the canoe, sleeping in the tin cans, snipe hunts, spiritual moments, testimony meetings, braided hair, "purple boogers" (its not what you think), late night talks with leaders, nerts, Sister Pearce's scones, rain, finally being old enough to sleep in a cabin, leeches and swimming, singing, hiking with Sar, Sister Stalecker singing the early bird song WAY too early, games and pranks, Janelle's crazy jokes, Steph helping me when I got so sick, Grecian urns, skits, crafts, etc.
Here's a few pictures from my most recent adventures.
